Stepping Up computer workshops
What is Stepping Up?
Stepping Up is a free, nationwide community-based digital literacy programme that supports adults to build their digital skills in small easy steps. The programme is for anyone wanting basic computer knowledge who wishes to develop digital skills relevant to their work and life.
Rotorua Library holds daily Digital Drop-In sessions where anyone can come in and get technical advice and assistance such as:
Skinny Jump | Get online if you have no internet connection. |
TradeMe | Job searching, rental or property searching, buy and sell household items |
Careers NZ | Creating or updating a CV employers will notice |
Google and the internet | How to navigate, search, access images, maps and directions |
Smartphones | Connecting to WIFI, emails, photos, downloading and saving documents |
Where and When ?
Drop-In Sessions are held in the computer room on the First Floor of the Library
Monday to Friday 11am - 12noon
Saturday 2pm - 3pm
Assistance is given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Remember to bring your phone, tablet or laptop if required. We have computers to use for internet training.
