Volunteer programme
We are very grateful to the many members of the Rotorua community who offer their time, energy and talents to support Rotorua Library, Te Aka Mauri.
We welcome registrations of interest to join our wonderful team of volunteers in one of the following roles:
- Volunteer Shelvers - this opportunity includes sorting and shelving library materials, making our library resources easy to find for our community.
- Youth and Early Learning volunteers - an exciting opportunity to support the youth and early learning team to prepare resources for programmes and assist in supporting programmes.
- Heritage, Research and Archives Volunteers - to assist the Heritage and Research team in the preservation, management and promotion of the library’s archive and heritage collections.
