Rotorua Library is very fortunate to have had the unwavering support of an active Friends of the Library group, hard-working volunteers whose aims are:
- To promote and support the library
- To facilitate its use and enjoyment by the public
- To help to acquire additional resources and services for the library
- To lobby on behalf of the library
- To encourage involvement of the community in the activities, needs and progress of the library
Buy Books at the Library too
The Friends of the Library also stock a great range of pre-loved books at the Library where you can easily pick up a bargain read or two. These shelves are located by the Big Screen on the Ground Floor. Most books are only $1 or $2 and include adult fiction, non-fiction and children's books. This selection is constantly updated with a wide range of reading material so remember to check it out next time you visit the Library.
